Sylvan Lake believes in bringing neighbors together with events and activities. These activities began early on and have continued throughout the years. Some events such as welcoming dances, labor day picnics, sailboat races, Venetian night and Ravinia night have come and gone, but others have stood the test of time such as:
- Clean-up Day
- Carp-o-Rama
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Volleyball League
- Fourth-of-July Picnic
- Oktoberfest
- Santa’s Visit
- Book club
- Morning coffee and tea
And other newcomers have already gained popular support such as the Cardboard Regatta!
Regardless of the activity, Sylvan Lake is built upon a neighborly community and always look for ways to come together.
